Episode 08—

Ed began with not much more than a guitar and a willingness to go and help in any way he could.

He went on a couple trips to Haiti in the late 80s and got hooked on the country and the people, staying longer and longer each trip, then finally moved there from the U.S. in '95.

Now, he administrates a whole network of schools, food programs, and help for his community, while still going around with his guitar and making peoples’ lives a little brighter.

We talk about corruption, the danger of living in or visiting Haiti, the benefits and harm of church mission trips, the 2010 earthquake, what Haiti needs now, and Ed's hopes for his adopted country.
